Androsmart Hair Restoration

Is there a cure for hair loss? There have been numerous studies into this subject, hair transplant including research developed at Yale University which took a look at regenerative properties of stem cells in mice that provide signals to encourage hair growth. For more recent news in developing a cure for hair loss, however, Androsmart medical hair restoration’s senior author has posited a new hypothesis.

Valerie Horsley, the senior author, has suggested that hair loss could actually be a simple lack of communication. The stem cells which Yale discovered in the fatty tissue of their mice, is the same sort of tissue found on human skin. Horsley posits that if the skin at the base of the dormant hair follicles creates a communication with the follicles themselves then they can undergo the same sort of regeneration found in the mice. As a result hair can be made to grow again without any hair transplants or other procedures.

What if you don’t have the right stem cells present in your skin? Research shows that even men suffering from baldness have the stem cells necessary to facilitate this communication. The cells at the base of the hair follicles have just become dormant; they haven’t disappeared. Scientists have yet to discover what exactly sends signals to hair follicles to begin growing, but they have noticed a correlation between the thickness of the skin on the scalp and the growth of hair.

When hair follicles go into dormancy, the scalp thins over time. In order to regenerate hair a process called adipogenes is has to occur. This process expands the thickness of the skin on the scalp which in turn creates the ability for dormant hair follicles to begin receiving signals again and regenerate hair.

There’s still plenty of work to be done on this topic, but Horsley and her team are hard at work to discover the source of hair generation signals as well as understand how to trigger these signals in dormant hair follicles.

Please concern your doctor or hair experts for medical hair restoration.
